BakBot is a powerful and flexible shareware solution for automated and manual data backup on Windows NT, 2000, XP, and later versions. It enables users to easily schedule, configure, and execute backup operations (jobs) with minimal effort. Each job can include any number of files, folders, and even Windows registry settings, ensuring comprehensive data protection.

BakBot supports the standard ZIP format as well as modern formats such as 7-Zip and ZIP64. In addition, it can integrate seamlessly with third-party archiving tools like WinZip or WinRAR. Thanks to its highly configurable architecture, BakBot can work with virtually any external program or workflow.

The software provides automatic email notifications to keep you informed about the success or failure of backup operations. Backups can be mirrored to multiple destinations for increased redundancy and reliability. The current system status can also be accessed remotely via a standard web browser.

For maximum flexibility, backups can be encrypted and automatically sent as email attachments or securely transferred to an FTP server.
